  • For my own tracking and to keep me focused.  This way I know whether or not I am wasting my own time. 

    Here's today. 

    •   I woke up at 5am, called in sick.  Went back to sleep until 6:30
    • 6:30 woke up, typed up sub plans to send to school.  Pulled my car out of the drive way.  Looked up the phone numbers of people I have to call today and made a list. Ate a bowl of Cheerios, did some of the dishes and started this post.
    • 8:00  Called car dealership and brought car into get window fixed.  Took the car to the dealership.  Was told it would take 2 hours to fix.  Waited around for a little while and worked on my field notes for grad school.  Finally decided to take a cab home. 
    • 10:00  put away laundry and paid a bill that came in the mail. 
    • 10:30  began working on lesson plans
    • 11:00 ate ramen noodles for lunch.  Cheap and whats in the house. 
    • 1:00  completed last week's plan book the way it was supposed to be with all the testing that's gonig on.  Took a nap.
    • 1:30 Stretched from nap.  Want to go to dunkin to get coffee, but don't have the hour it will take me to walk there and back.  Workin on science plans instead.
    • 2:00  Science lesson plans for the week are complete, SS for today Math for Mon and tues.  Making a few necessary phone calls to docs and the such.  Really what took the most time was the automated system at SSA.  They would make me say and spell the last name, and then i would make some weird "calculating sound" and make me wait for a whole minute to input the stupid name.  A person would have made it A LOT faster!  After ti took the machine 5 minutes to take my 1st and last name, SS# and state of birth and mother madien name.  Ugh!  Then i get a human who verifies all the same crap!  To top it all off i had to call back.  when i was done.  (That was due to my own stupidity.)
    • 3:00 went to pick up my car.  Window cost me $270.  Ugh.  Had dunkin with ralph, cafine doing wonders for me. 
    • 4:30  Currently looking for paper to go work on. Worked on the paper out in the sun for a while.  Got a good handle on my introduction.  Decided to go to the library to do a little more research to make my foundation stronger. 
    • 6:00 left for Queens College.  Registared for a seminar I need to take for certification.  Went to the library, organized my paper work, went to grab a sandwhich and choose which article to reread and site from. 
    • 8:00  Updated my calendar for this week.  Realized that I only have like 2 mores weeks to really finish this massive paper and that I'm screwed.  Decided not to dwell on that and update my xanga.
    • 8:30  Got back to work on my paper.  Found more articles to back my research.  Will print them tomorrow. 
    • 10:30 left the library to go find my car.  Couldn't quite recall which street I parked it on.
